Barrio Babies provides comprehensive transitional care for mothers & infants.
New and growing families often have an increased need for medical and lactation support for the first several months as they adjust to the new normal. An increasingly common term for this period is ‘the 4th Trimester’ but we prefer to simply call it a healthy start at home.
We coordinate care with Pediatrician’s, OB/GYN’s, Midwives, Lactation Consultants, Specialists and focus on the unique needs of mothers and their newborns in hour long visits that can address everything from Bilirubin testing, breastfeeding support, well-baby checks, wound checks, mastitis, tongue-tie, and postpartum depression even on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tips:
- If you are using your smartphone to schedule an appointment, try rotating it landscape mode.
- For Lactation Consults select "Specialized Exam" as the 'Reason for visit'.
- You can register either mom or baby online to secure your appointment. Typically given the nature of our services both mom and baby are patients and we will register the remaining family member upon check-in.
